Swansea City transfer bulletin as Man City target left out of squad and Southampton man agrees move
Jacob Wright was left out of Manchester City's squad for their trip to Arsenal on Sunday, with a move to Swansea City appearing to gather pace.
Reports emerged earlier this week from transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano that Swansea had beaten Championship rivals Middlesbrough to the signing of midfielder Wright.
Now, Manchester City writer Simon Bajkowski at our sister title Manchester Evening News has reported Wright is not involved with the City squad for their trip to the Emirates this afternoon. Sign up to our Swansea City newsletter here.

Writing on X, Bajkowski said: "No Ederson today for Manchester City. Ortega starts, De Bruyne on the bench CITY: Ortega, Nunes, Stones, Akanji, Gvardiol, Kovacic, Silva, Foden, Savinho, Marmoush, Haaland.
"Jacob Wright not in the squad ahead of expected move to Swansea, as @FabrizioRomano first reported."
With Matt Grimes now a Coventry City player, Swansea head coach Luke Williams is desperate to strengthen his midfield options. Nineteen-year-old Wright is thought to be valued at £4m, with City ready to sanction his exit, although it is unclear whether it will be a loan or permanent deal.
Wright has made four first-team appearances for Pep Guardiola's side this term.
Meanwhile, Swansea look to have missed out on Southampton winger Samuel Amo-Ameyaw. The Athletic report the 18-year-old, who Swansea had shown interest in signing on loan, is close to a permanent move to Strasbourg.
He is set to join the French club on loan until the rest of the season - and there is an obligation to buy for a total package worth €7million in the summer.
