Swansea City transfer bulletin as star poised for exit and Swans join race for Leeds United target

Swansea City youngster is Azeem Abdulai is set to join Leyton Orient on a permanent deal.

The 22-year-old has largely struggled for game-time under boss Luke Williams this season, starting just two of Swansea's 27 Championship outings so far.

He wasn't included in the in the matchday squad for Saturday's South Wales derby defeat to Cardiff City, and he is now set to make the move to League One with Orient, who are currently three points outside the play-off positions.

The Scottish-born midfielder, who can operate either centrally or out wide, is the latest player to depart this month, with goalkeeping duo Andy Fisher and Nathan Broome both heading out on loan, along with young striker Josh Thomas, who's gone out to Irish side Drogheda United. Meanwhile, the Swans are also reportedly among a clutch of clubs tracking Oxford United attacking midfielder Tyler Goodrham.

According to Football Insider, Swansea, Leeds United, Sunderland and Coventry City are all monitoring the 21-year-old, who's emerged as one of the most promising young talents in the Championship.

The Republic of Ireland international has made 28 appearances for Oxford, chipping in with seven goals and assists in all competitions.

An attacking midfielder is certainly on high on the shopping list for Williams, who is also keen on a centre-back.

The Swans boss flew out to the Netherlands on Sunday to watch a potential central defensive option, although the Swans have also been tipped with interest in options elsewhere.

Another report from Football Insider claims the club are looking at Amiens star Osaze Urhoghide.

The 24-year-old has impressed for the Ligue 2 outfit, making 39 appearances for them since joining from Scottish giants Celtic 18 months ago, and is also believed to be on the radar at Bristol City.
