Swindon Supermarine clinched a battling win in a nail-biting match against Plymouth Parkway.

Supermarine went into the half-time break 1-0 down, thanks to a thunderous Callum Hall strike.

However, the visitors' goalkeeper, Fiachra Pagel, was instrumental in keeping Marine in the game with a string of impressive saves.

The second half saw an early equaliser from Supermarine, with a deflected shot from Michael Fernandes.

But the lead was short-lived, as the hosts quickly regained the advantage with a powerful Taylor Scarff header.

Supermarine levelled the match again on the hour mark when a Michael Fernandes free kick deflected off a disorganised defensive wall.

The decisive goal came on 72 minutes, from a Michael Fernandes cross.

Lucias Vine nodded the ball back across the goal, and Harry Williams finished it off at the far post.

With the referee adding on significant injury time, Marine had to defend their lead for an extra half hour.

They held their ground, thanks to well-timed tackles, headers, blocks, and confident goalkeeping.

Marine boss Stuart Fleetwood admitted the team was fortunate to win.

However, he commended their battling spirit, saying, "I am conscious we were fortunate today."
