The Houston Texans took control of the AFC South on Thursday Night Football with a closely fought win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Both teams started the night with 6-4 records, but it was the Texans that came up with the big plays when it mattered, with DeAndre Hopkins finishing with six catches for 94 yards and two touchdowns.
The divisional encounter now leaves Houston top, but with all three rivals still in the hunt for postseason games.

As well as Hopkins, Will Fuller impressed (seven passes for 140 yards) against a Colts’ secondary that struggled all night. While the Colts enjoyed success running the ball, right up until the Texans defense halted a fourth quarter potential game-winning drive.
Having been taken apart by the Baltimore Ravens last week, this was the perfect response from a Texans side that still harbours slim Super Bowl hopes.
