With Jurgen Klopp set to depart Anfield at the end of the season, the Reds are being touted as a landing spot for a number of managers.
Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso has been the manager most strongly linked with the soon-to-be-vacant post on Merseyside, both because of the German side’s table-topping form and his previous playing career at the club.
Frank, meanwhile, has been linked with the job after turning Brentford into a competitive Premier League outfit since their promotion in 2021.
Still, the Dane only signed a new contract in late 2022, one keeping him in west London until the summer of 2027.
Speaking on the links with Liverpool, Frank told Sky Sports: “There’s a lot rumours out there.
“I think we all have kind of an ego and the ego likes that little bit of sugar but at the end of the day I’m at Brentford.
“I’m very happy here. Do I have ambitions? Yes. Am I going to stay at Brentford forever? Maybe but probably not.
“So who knows what’s going to happen in the future. What I know is that I’m here at Brentford and I’m very happy with it.”
