The three free agents who could catch Derby County's eye after Paul Warne transfer reveal
Paul Warne has admitted he is looking at three free agents with Derby County open to adding to their squad after the winter transfer window shut on Monday.
Derby made four signings in total, with Harrison Armstrong arriving on loan from Everton, while the club forked out for Viking FK pair Lars-Jorgen Salvesen and Sondre Langas.
They also recruited Matt Clarke from Middlesbrough on a permanent deal until the end of the season having paid a nominal six-figure sum for his services.

But with Derby unable to add to its attack or find cover in defence on deadline day, the club is now looking at who is available on the free agent list. Here, DerbyshireLive looks at three candidates who might catch Derby's eye.
Ryan Kent
The 28-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Fenerbache, and there have been links to a move to Iran because, apparently, he will be able to take his pet crocodiles.
But reports of a move to Persepolis that had emerged over the last week has yet to come to fruition and Kent is still very much available after leaving Fenerbache where he played just once this season.
With Derby failing to add to their attack on deadline day, Kent's quality on the wing would undoubtedly give them a much-needed lift.
He would be a guaranteed starter here at Pride Park and if he could help keep them up then it would be a no-brainer of a deal to do.
The only issue would probably be his wages after his four-year contract was ripped up in Turkey, but there is no disputing that he has the quality out wide that would seriously enhance their attack.
He would be a hugely significant upgrade on what they already have, but according to reports Blackburn were checking in on him too. Still, while he is available, there is hope.
Timothy Fosu-Mensah
Swansea had been keen on doing a deal for the defender who can play all across the backline, but a move never materialised.
"We are looking at that player and trying to work out where we are and where he is so we'll see," said Swansea head coach Williams. "We are trying to find players we think can push us forward to the next level."
There's no question that Fosu-Mensah has the pedigree having graduated at Manchester United and he has won three caps for the Netherlands.
He spent time on loan at Fulham and Crystal Palace before making the switch to Bayer Leverkusen. Unfortunately, a knee ligament injury stalled his progress. He then returned but suffered a hamstring problem and last season he didn't play a game for the Bundesliga side last season under Xabi Alonso.
The 27-year-old is still in the peak years of his career; it's just a question of whether he can stay fit, and that is why he is on the free agent list. But there is no denying that if fit, he would find the Championship no issue at all.
Lucas Joao
Registered 19 goals in the Championship five years ago at Reading and was hot property at one time - and proved the scourge of Derby County in a 2-0 defeat when he was at Sheffield Wednesday.
"I thought Joao was excellent," said then Rams boss Gary Rowett the time. "I thought at times he was unplayable, he shows he's very unpredictable and difficult to get the ball off. But to allow him to turn and to allow him to have that much space is very unlike us and then it's a fantasic finish from him which Scott Carson couldn't do much about.
"At 2-0 down then for the rest of the game I don't think Scott's had a save to make and then if you look at their goalkeeper and defenders they have had to work incredibly hard to keep the ball out."
Joao left Reading in 2023 after the club were relegated to League One and there have been rumours that he would consider a return to England after spells in China, Qatar and then Iran. At 6ft 4in, he would certainly add presence to the frontline.
