Three Manchester United players have hinted they will be starting for Ruben Amorim's side against Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The match was shrouded in suspense after heavy snowfall on Merseyside overnight led to doubts as to whether the game would be allowed to go ahead. However, after two safety advisory group meetings, the decision was made between Liverpool and the city's council that the game would be allowed to continue as planned.

As such, the Reds are now preparing for what is their biggest challenge under Amorim yet. Liverpool are flying at the top of the Premier League and United find themselves winless in four matches across all competitions.

Ahead of the team news being confirmed at 3.15pm, three United players have hinted at their involvement by sharing a matchday image on their Instagram feeds. Those doing so have historically been picked in the matchday squad by their managers.

The first to do so was Diogo Dalot who is expected to start having featured in all of Amorim's Premier League matches to date.

The next to add an image was Casemiro, who started the defeat to Newcastle United after Manuel Ugarte picked up a suspension at Wolverhampton Wanderers. If Ugarte were to reclaim his place in the starting XI, it would suggest that United would be opting for two defensive midfielders in the pivot to try and prevent the threat of Liverpool's attack.

Finally, it was the turn of Leny Yoro to post a matchday image to his story. He did not start the defeat to Newcastle and his inclusion in the starting XI would mean either Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire or Lisandro Martinez would be dropped.
