Mr. Woods will make his return to the PGA Tour at the 2025 Genesis Invitational, his first start since the British Open at Royal Troon in July. Riviera Country Club usually plays host to the event put on by Woods' TGR Foundation, but due to the wildfires that have devasted the Los Angeles area, Torrey Pines' South Course will welcome the Tour's best for the third signature event of the season.

Thanks to its elevated status, the best players in the world are headed to San Diego including world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am winner Rory McIlroy, Ludvig Aberg, Patrick Cantlay, Wyndham Clark, Tony Finau, Rickie Fowler, Max Homa, Viktor Hovland, Tom Kim, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas.

San Diego native Xander Schauffele remains sidelined with a rib injury.

The winner will take home $4 million of the $20 million purse and 700 FedEx Cup points.
