Tiger Woods, Nelly Korda, Rory McIlroy star in TaylorMade holiday card
The first time TaylorMade released a holiday card in 2019, golf fans thought that the image featuring Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa and other staffers was fake, created in PhotoShop or some other image-editing software. But it was real, and over the last few seasons, the brand has created a holiday card and dropped it on social media as its own holiday tradition.
On Monday morning, that tradition continued, and the theme this time is classic Christmas movies, but instead of Macaulay Culkin starring in "Home Alone," it's McIlroy fighting off Morikawa and Charley Hull, Tiger Woods getting shocked instead of Chevy Chase in "Tiger's Vacation," and Tommy Fleetwood doing a spoof of "Die Hard" in "Drive Hard."
TaylorMade hosted its commercial content shoot about a month ago, taking a full day to shoot videos, commercials and all types of content that will be aired in 2025. In addition to content that features the company's drivers, irons, wedges, putters, and golf balls, TaylorMade has historically uses the one chance it has to bring everyone together to also get the assets it needs for the holiday card.
To jog your memory, in 2020, there was a wholesome photo on the staircase.
In 2021, Tommy Fleetwood put his tongue on a frozen street post after McIlroy goaded him into the stunt.
In 2022, Charley Hull joined the guys for some Christmas caroling.
Last year, Tiger Woods played the role of Santa Claus while Nelly Korda, Hull, and other players were toy-building elves.
