Tonight's Cardiff City news as boss says striker was 'not trusted' and star makes Riza admission
Here are your Cardiff City evening headlines for Friday, November 22.
Rohl: Ugbo was 'not trusted' by Cardiff
Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl says Ike Ugbo was 'not trusted' by Cardiff City as he leapt to his defence ahead of facing his old club tomorrow.
Ugbo started life at Cardiff like a house on fire, scoring three goals and assisting one in his first four games. However he would soon embark on a goal drought which saw him net just once more, the winner against Preston almost exactly a year ago.

Late on during his time at Cardiff he was forced to settle for roles on the bench, with the likes of Yakou Meite preferred ahead of him, before he was bombed out all together by Erol Bulut in the new year..
The Canada international was picked up by the Owls on loan from Troyes in January and similarly started just as well. He scored six and assisted one in a purple patch of six games in February and March and that form saw him re-join the Owls permanently last summer.
He is yet to score in 17 Championship games for the Hillsborough club this term, a record he will no doubt want to alter tomorrow lunchtime, but Rohl believes he brings more than just goals.
"We look at the full picture with him," Rohl said ahead of the meeting with the Bluebirds. "We signed him last year, we loaned him in a situation where he was on the bench, nobody trusted him.
"We bring him back with our style of football, he was scoring goals and he was very helpful for us and was a key player for us staying in the league.
"That was the reason in the summer we tried to bring him here. Now you have a choice as a manager, give him one chance, two chances and then say he is out, or you find a way. This is now my job. Give him more chances, put him in better positions and help him to find a way back to scoring.
"I believe in him and I'm convinced the moment will come. If he scores one, I believe he will score more and more goals."
Alnwick reveals wonderful news
Jak Alnwick has announced he has become a father ahead of the game this weekend.
The Bluebirds goalkeeper, who has captained the team a number of times this season in the absence of both Joe Ralls and Aaron Ramsey, made the announcement on social media.
Posting on Instagram, the 31-year-old shared that he and his partner Sophie had welcomed a baby girl into the world. Sign up to our daily Cardiff City newsletter here.
Elma Olivia Alnwick was brought into the world on November 19.
Ralls: Riza uncertainty not 'hanging over' players
Captain Joe Ralls insists the uncertainty hanging over Omer Riza is not "hanging over" the players like it might seem from the outside.
Supporters by and large want clarity from the top with regards to Riza's position, with the interim boss not able to give any more information on the current situation.
However, from the players' perspective, according to Ralls, the apparent limbo doesn't play as much of a part as some might think.
"He's really good," Ralls said of Riza. "He's been brilliant with all the lads and his work ethic, he covers everything.
"He wants to be involved. He speaks to all the players, one on one but also in group situations. He has a massive part on the training pitch as well. I'm really enjoying it so far.
"It's not something that's hanging over us like maybe it seems from the outside. We're focused on playing football, trying to win games for the football club and ourselves to try and climb the table We've had to make up ground after a poor start in the first six games."

Prutton predicts 'tough game'
Sky Sports pundit and former Nottingham Forest, Leeds and Southampton midfielder David Prutton believes the game at Hillsborough will end in the spoils being shared.
Both teams are at the wrong end of the table, with just three points separating them heading into the game tomorrow.
And, speaking on his Sky Sports' Essential EFL podcast, Prutton opted for a cautious 1-1 draw, but praised the work interim boss Riza has done during his nine games so far.
He said: "The noisy neighbours won at Bramall Lane, which they're very, very proud about. [They're] against a Cardiff side who, up until the last couple of games [were in good form]. Blackburn were very good and obviously a tough one against Luton.
"Omer Riza's work has been very, very good indeed. I still think it's a bit unfair that he's still seemingly being left to dangle in terms of who takes over.
"But Wednesday need a reaction and Cardiff, given they still find themselves precariously placed just inside the bottom three but obviously level on points with Luton, Preston and Hull City, this will be a tough game."
