Tonight's Cardiff City news as Riza reveals expectation, 'excellent' starlet provides 'magic' and striker out for weeks
These are your Cardiff City headlines on Monday, November 25.
Riza expects to be in charge for Hoops
Cardiff City's interim boss Omer Riza says he expects to be in charge for the visit of QPR on Wednesday night.
Riza took his side to Sheffield Wednesday last weekend fresh off the back of a trip to Malaysia to meet with Bluebirds owner Vincent Tan.

Afterwards he spoke to reporters to confirm he thinks nothing will change before the Hoops arrive in south Wales.
"I don’t think anything will change that quickly," he said. "That’s down to the board now to comment on that. We’re preparing like we need to."
Meanwhile, Riza says rotation of his squad will be vital as the club enters the busy festive schedule.
The Bluebirds secured a point on the road last time out against the Owls, with the gaffer altering the shape of the team in the second half at Hillsborough.
QPR are the visitors to Cardiff City Stadium in midweek and Riza says he and his players are "relishing every game".
"I think it disrupted their flow a little bit," Riza said of the formation shift. "We needed to get a bit more pressure on them, so we changed to a 3-4-3 and tried to get Perry (Ng) and Callum (O’Dowda) a little bit higher. We brought on another player in Joel (Bagan), who showed good possession on the ball at the back, and good composure.

"We still had instances where we won the ball back and could have countered, but in possession today we could have been tidier, a bit cleaner. We’ll work on that when we go back to the training ground. But, we've come away with a point and we can build on that moving forward into Wednesday.
"We're relishing every game, but we've got to make sure that we've got everybody ready to play, and be at a level where they're impactful when they come in. The rotation of the squad is going to be important now, when we can do it. It's thick and fast, we're looking forward to it, and hopefully we can keep picking up points."
Colwill provides the magic
Joel Colwill produced a moment of magic to earn Cheltenham Town all three points at the weekend.
The Cardiff youngster, on loan with the Robins, scored an 89th-minute winner against Tranmere to continue his brilliant campaign with the League Two side.
His manager, Michael Flynn, was delighted with Colwill's overall showing and the "little bit of magic" he produced for the winner on Friday evening.
“Joel was excellent tonight and I thought it was a deserved win because we were the better team and looked more dangerous,” Flynn said.
“Tranmere have experienced players and they are tough to play against, but I thought a little bit of magic would decide the game and thankfully Joel managed to provide it.
“It was a real team performance though and I’ve just praised Matty Taylor in there in front of the boys for three headed clearances right at the end, which shows the importance of putting the team first.
“He is going to be frustrated that he’s not starting games, but he’s not chucked his toys out of the pram, he’s kept his head down and he has just shown what being a team player and a squad player is all about, so fair play.
“That’s the environment we are trying to breed here.”
Simic out
KVK manager Freyr Alexandersson has revealed Cardiff striker Roko Simic will be unavailable for weeks after suffering an injury.
The on-loan forward has struggled for game-time at Tan's other club, with Alexandersson previously admitting his own role in the forward's slow start to life in Belgium.
Now an injury has hit his progress.
On the club's official site, it was reported: "Good and bad news within the group of players: 'Brecht Dejaegere is completely ready for the trip to Westerlo, Roko Simic is out for weeks due to an injury'. This was reported by Freyr Alexandersson in the run-up to Sunday evening's match in Kempen."
Speaking about Simic's perceived struggles, Alexandersson said earlier this month: “It’s partly my fault. I wanted to bring Roko too fast, when he was not ready for it.
"He still has to adapt a lot to this league and style of playing. In Austria, he was used to play for a dominating team, here he has to fight hard. He’s been struggling to adapt and find form, while I was wrong by putting him in the squad too fast.”
