Here's your round-up of all the latest Swansea City news for Monday, February 10.

Swans told they can't get carried away

Andy Robinson says Swansea cannot get carried away following their "massive" win over Bristol City on Sunday.

The former Swans midfielder says that while there were positives from the 1-0 win at Ashton Gate, they cannot afford to take their foot off the gas ahead of the visit of Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday, and the trip to Stoke City at the weekend.

"It is huge for them and for manager Luke Williams," Robinson said on BBC Radio Wales Sport. "But it's got to be constant now; the fight and desire they showed today should be kept from now until the end of season. Sign up to our Swansea City newsletter here.

"It's going to be a bumpy ride but this goes a long way after the abysmal off the field things that have gone on for the past few months."

"It's massive for the football club, just what they needed – and hopefully now they can start building with a little bit of momentum and a little bit of confidence going into a busy week," added Robinson.

"Let's be honest they are two winnable games. If you look at the next few fixtures where they could pick up points, it's those two games so this is huge."

Vigouroux eyeing fresh start

Goalkeeper Lawrence Vigoroux says the month of February represents "a new start" for Swansea City.

Vigoroux made a string of big saves at Ashton Gate to help his side on their way to a 1-0 win on the day, which was Swansea's first in 2025.

"We definitely needed it, if I'm being honest it wasn't the best January ever in terms of matches that we've played," he said .

"It's a new start, a new month. We put in a great performance and I think we deserved it for how we defended and Tymo's [Josh Tymon] goal at the other end.

"It's a mentality thing, we were ready to work really hard for each other, we can't say that once every four games, it has to be every single game and it's something that we've got to challenge ourselves to do.

"We've got some big games coming up this week. If we can take the mentality that we showed into the rest of the games this season, we'll be fine

"We've got a big game in the week and that's all we're going to be looking forward to - we can't look past that, another tough game against a well drilled side.

"We know the qualities that they have and we have just got to show them what we're good at and hopefully we can come away with the three points".

O'Brien 'buzzing' after debut

Lewis O’Brien was left “buzzing” following his Swansea City debut, and hopes victory over Bristol City will provide them with a platform to build on over the coming weeks.

The 26-year-old enjoyed a strong opening bow for following his deadline-day loan move from Nottingham Forest, and hopes there's more to come.

“I’m buzzing. The lads dug deep and it’s a result we can only build on from now,” he said.

“We came into a tough environment, but I think it just shows the lads are still willing to leave 100 per cent out there.

“I just like to put everything on the line for the whole 90 minutes, and making a block, sometimes I do celebrate them more than a goal because it means keeping the team in the game.

“In that moment in time it released a bit of pressure, I don’t think about the celebration it’s just the emotion of the moment sometimes.

“When I came in, the lads were still in positive spirits in the changing room, and now everyone’s obviously buzzing with the win.”
