Tottenham winger Yang Min-hyeok has completed a loan move to Championship side Queens Park Rangers for the remainder of the season, football.london understands. Only arriving at Tottenham in late December after the club agreed on a deal with Gangwon FC for the teenager in the summer, Yang will make the move across the capital to gain some vital first-team experience in the English game.

football.london understands that Yang has completed his medical ahead of his move to QPR and now it is just a matter of finalising and announcing the deal. The 18-year-old has been an unused substitute on three occasions for Tottenham since linking up with Ange Postecoglou's side.

Speaking at the start of January after Yang had joined up with his new teammates for the very first time, Postecoglou revealed that there was no immediate plan to rush him into the first team despite missing a host of key players.

"No real plan at the moment. Just let him settle," he said. "He is still very young and has come in from the other side of the world where the level of competition is nowhere near what he is going to face here. We will just give him time to adapt.

"It helps that Sonny is here and kind of helps him around when he is at the club and outside the club. We are just trying to get him settled early and give him the chance to settle in. No real plan, we will just take it as it goes with him and see how he settles in."

Following Yang's departure to QPR, Spurs are rather limited in the attacking positions with Richarlison, Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski, Mikey Moore, Dane Scarlett and Will Lankshear their only fit players right now. Postecoglou and everyone connected with the club will be hoping to add to the options prior to Monday's 11pm transfer deadline.
