Tottenham Hotspur were pegged back late on in this afternoon's Premier League showdown with Wolves.

Goals from the returning Rodrigo Bentancur and Brennan Johnson, either side of a first-half reply from Hwang Hee-Chan, got the ball rolling for Ange Postecoglou's men. However, just when it looked as though Tottenham were on their way to victory, Jorgen Strand Larsen popped up with an 87th-minute equaliser.

The 2-2 draw was enough to move Postecoglou's team up to 11th in the Premier League standings. Here, we take a closer look at Spurs' upcoming schedule and how it compares to their top-four rivals.

Tottenham's next five fixtures in all competitions

January 4 vs Newcastle (H) at 12.30pm - Premier League

January 8 vs Liverpool (H) at 8pm - Carabao Cup SF first leg

January 12 vs Tamworth (A) at 12.30pm - FA Cup

January 15 vs Arsenal (A) at 8pm - Premier League

January 19 vs Everton (H) at 2pm - Premier League

The verdict: With a huge North London Derby thrown in for good measure, January represents a hugely important month for Postecoglou and his side. Still fighting on four fronts, the Lilywhites have games in all three competitions to look forward to at the turn of the year and their entire squad will need to be utilised.

An FA Cup date against Tamworth should - with all due respect of course - be manageable with a rotated line-up for Spurs to go full throttle either side vs Newcastle, Liverpool and Arsenal. On paper, at least, Manchester United have the toughest run to come as they attempt to revive their dismal top-four charge.
