Ange Postecoglou has thrown new signing Antonin Kinsky straight in for his debut in goal as Tottenham welcome Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg on Wednesday night.

Spurs made their first signing of the January transfer window with the arrival of 21-year-old Kinsky from Slavia Prague in a deal that could be worth around £12.5million with add-ons. Postecoglou has shown his hopes for the young keeper with Brandon Austin back on the bench after impressing on his own debut against Newcastle with Fraser Forster out sick.

Postecoglou has got Rodrigo Bentancur back from suspension with James Maddison and Pape Matar Sarr now out for the same reason. Lucas Bergvall impressed in the midfield against Newcastle and the 18-year-old Swede gets another chance to start with Bentancur and Yves Bissouma.

Seventeen-year-old Mikey Moore is back on the bench for the first time in a couple of months after recovering from the virus that has wiped out a chunk of his season. January signing Yang Min-hyeok is among the substitutes for the first time but this match has come too soon for Richarlison who faces another week of training before being considered for match duty.

Here's the Spurs team Postecoglou has selected to take on Arne Slot's side:

Kinsky; Porro, Dragusin, Gray, Spence; Bentancur, Bissouma, Bergvall; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son. Subs: Austin, Reguilon, Dorrington, Olusesi, Yang, Moore, Werner, Johnson, Lankshear.
