Tottenham tipped to sign Marcus Rashford and £50m Premier League star in January transfer window
Ange Postecoglou will be hoping to strengthen his Tottenham squad in the January transfer window. Spurs have been extremely inconsistent throughout the 2024/25 season with two wins, three draws and three defeats from their last eight games.
The Lilywhites have proven themselves to be electric in attack but also very frail defensively. In their last three games, they have scored 12 goals but also conceded nine with those aforementioned inconsistencies highlighted by a clean sheet against Southampton coming prior to conceding three to Manchester United and six to Liverpool.
Postecoglou has seen his squad battered by injuries, particular in defence, with three first-choice members of backline currently absent. Destiny Udogie will likely come back into the starting XI after Christmas, but Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Guglielmo Vicario are all ruled out for the next few weeks at least.

Despite those problems, it is attackers that are being tipped to join Spurs in the January transfer window with a number of players linked to sealing a mid-season departure. Sporting CP star Viktor Gyokeres is of interest to several Premier League clubs while Man United star Marcus Rashford appears destined for an exit from England.
There is also a number of other forwards performing at a high level that could be on the move having emerged of interest to a number of top European clubs. Brentford's Bryan Mbuemo, valued at £50million, is one of those with the 25-year-old impressing again this season.
Liverpool duo Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah, with both players out of contract in the summer, are also being tipped for a shock January exit. Ben Chilwell meanwhile, is one star that will likely want to depart Chelsea in search of regular minutes.
Despite Spurs' issues at the back, Chilwell is not considered a transfer option for them in January. Rashford and Mbeumo, while at high odds for Tottenham, do feature among the bookies' list of clubs they could sign for before February 3, 2025.
Bryan Mbuemo - 6/1 BetVictor.
Marcus Rashford - 20/1 PaddyPower.
