'He trained better' - Pep Guardiola gives Man City injury update for West Ham
Pep Guardiola does not expect to have any more players back to face West Ham.
Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker returned to the matchday squad at Leicester to reduce the number of absentees after they had eight missing for Boxing Day, but there are still a number of stars missing. The West Ham game on Saturday is likely to come too soon for any more players to come back, although Matheus Nunes was not definitively ruled out.
City's manager said that Ruben Dias is 'getting better' and that Ederson had 'trained better' this week with his first training session without disturbance in his leg for some time. However, neither are expected to be back in time.

Rodri and Oscar Bobb are long term injuries and John Stones has also been out after being substituted at Aston Villa before Christmas with a recurrence of his foot injury. There are at least no fresh injuries to be concerned with.
Guardiola's team are looking for back-to-back victories for the first time since October, but the coach did not suggest much had changed in the Premier League victory at Leicester. Despite that, City can still use it to their advantage if they can make it work against West Ham.
"It's just a game that we didn't play in our best level," he said. "We won because sometimes football is like that. There are other games where we played better and didn't win.
"It's good for the mood but we are a way from our best of being consistent with results. We have an opportunity against West Ham to make another victory that will help for our future."
