Trent Alexander-Arnold has reportedly rejected several new contract offers from Liverpool as he is coming to the end of his contract in the summer. The England international has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid and the Spanish giants have already had an approach rejected.

Amid ongoing uncertainty over Alexander-Arnold's future at Anfield, Italian journalist Sacha Tavolieri has claimed he has rejected 'numerous contract offers' from the Reds. He claims those offers have been 'considered too low' by the right-back.

However, the report adds there is still no agreement between Real and Alexander-Arnold, despite his 'desire' to join Los Blancos. There is claimed to be a 'fairly clear distance' between Real's and the full-back's expectations after they presented their first 'written proposal.'

The 26-year-old is one of three high-profile contract issues at Anfield for the hierarchy to resolve. Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah are also facing uncertainty over their futures as they approach the final months of their current deals. Meanwhile, Sky Sports in France suggest Alexander-Arnold has not pledged his allegiance to anybody yet, including Liverpool.

Elsewhere, Colombia's Antena 2 (via Mundo Deportivo) have indicated Barcelona are 'preparing' an offer worth €70million (£59m) to convince Liverpool to sell Luis Diaz. The 28-year-old was reportedly initially identified by the Spanish giants to reinforce their wing last summer and they have kept a close eye on his situation on Merseyside.

However, the report states Diaz's representatives have made it clear he will not leave Liverpool this winter but have a move at the end of the season is thought to be 'an option.'
