Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid transfer 'update' as Liverpool feelings 'revealed'
Trent Alexander-Arnold continues to dominate Liverpool transfer headlines with his contract expiring in the summer. Spanish giants Real Madrid, having been linked for some time, made an official approach for the right-back recently but that offer was very quickly rebuffed.
Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah also see their current deals expire in six months, and thus, clubs abroad can now make pre-contract approaches. Though the aforementioned duo are expected to remain at Anfield, the same cannot currently be said for Alexander-Arnold with his future in Merseyside very much uncertain.
This past weekend, Alexander-Arnold scored his first Premier League goal of the season in the dominant 5-0 victory over West Ham at London Stadium. During his celebration, the defender appeared to mock those talking about his future by making a talking gesture with his hand.

Slot was understandably asked about Liverpool's boyhood star after the game with his response a telling one to say the least. "He's playing really well, scored a great goal and the way he celebrated his goal probably tells you enough, so I don't think I have to say much more about it," Slot admitted in a press conference.
With Alexander-Arnold's future very much the trending topic, numerous fresh reports emerge daily with the latest of those revealing some Real Madrid and Liverpool feelings. According to Relevo, optimism is very high on the side of Madrid that Alexander-Arnold will make the switch.
Doing so in January is not considered likely but a fresh report from the Times has revealed Los Blancos are considering a second offer this month in order to test Liverpool's resolve. On the other side of the coin, the Spanish outlet added that the 26-year-old wants to depart the club on good terms.
