Triple boost for Warrington Town with loan signings confirmed
WARRINGTON Town have been given a triple boost ahead of their crucial trip to Farsley Celtic tomorrow.
Yellows could have up to three debutants in their side for their clash with the Celts, which is being played at Buxton FC due to ongoing issues installing a 4G pitch at the Yorkshire side’s home ground.
The club have confirmed two loan signings ahead of the match, with midfielder Danny Vost and forward Lee Williams joining from Huddersfield Town and Stockport County respectively.
Town fans may recognise 17-year-old Williams as having played against them earlier this week – he played 90 minutes for a youthful County side that lost 1-0 to Paul Carden’s men in the Cheshire Senior Cup on Tuesday.
He made his first-team debut for Stockport earlier this season in an EFL Cup clash with Blackburn Rovers but now joins Warrington on a work experience loan.
The deal to bring 18-year-old Vost to the club runs until March 1st initially, meaning he will be available for Yellows’ next nine National League North fixtures.
Having previously spent time in the Everton youth system, Vost’s solitary first-team game for Huddersfield came in the EFL Trophy earlier this season.
A further boost to Carden comes in the shape new player-coach Craig Noone now being eligible to feature on the pitch.
The 37-year-old winger, who played in the Premier League for Cardiff City as well as extensively in the Championship for the Bluebirds, Brighton and Bolton Wanderers, needed international clearance to play having finished his professional career in Australia with Melbourne City and Macarthur Bulls.
He has been in the dugout for the past two games but can now feature against Farsley on Saturday.
