INVERCLYDE Leisure are giving you the chance to experience a new sport in Greenock this year.

Bosses are teaming up with local curling clubs to run a series of 90-minute adult sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at a cost of just £10 per sessions.

The Tuesday sessions begin at 8pm and the Thursday sessions from 10am (excluding February 17), running until Thursday, March 27.

All will take place at the Waterfront Leisure Complex.

The sessions are open to those who have played curling in the past and are looking to brush up on their technique, as well as those who would like to try the sport for the first time.

For any youngsters who may be interested in taking up the sport, Inverclyde Leisure will also be running junior sessions, every Wednesday from 3.30pm until 5pm, priced at just £5 per session.

And if you enjoy the sessions, there are plenty of clubs to join locally with their own competitions running from September to March, with the option to take part in other events such as the Waterfront Day League and the Super League.
