Tubi to Stream Super Bowl LIX Live in First for Fox-Owned Platform

Super Bowl LIX will be everywhere on February 9.

The 2025 Super Bowl is set to air on Fox, and will also be available on Fox Deportes, the NFL’s digital properties and on NBCUniversal’s Telemundo (thanks to a deal between the companies last year).

In a first, however, the Big Game will also stream for free on Tubi, Fox’s ad-supported video service. Fox last had the game in 2023, and while it streamed for free without pay-TV authentication on the Fox Sports app and website, Tubi was not included.

That will change this time, with Tubi reporting earlier this month that it now has 97 million monthly active users. The NFL has long pushed to make the Big Game as accessible as possible for consumers, ensuring it remains the biggest TV event of the year in the U.S.

Super Bowl LIX is set to be played on Sunday, Feb. 9 in New Orleans at the Superdome.

Fox unveiled what it is calling a “Super Bowl LIX takeover” on Wednesday. As part of the programming, Fox will bring Fox Sports 1’s lineup of programming to the Fox broadcast network on Friday, Feb. 7, including First Things First and The Herd with Colin Cowherd.

On Super Bowl Sunday, Fox will have its Super Bowl LIX pregame show, with Tubi also streaming Tubi Red Carpet at Super Bowl LIX, which will be hosted by Olivia Culpo and cover the “celebrity, fashion and culture behind America’s biggest sports event.”

More details on Fox’s programming ahead of the big game are expected in the coming weeks.
