Tyson Fury fans are now very worried after bizarre workout incident and 18-word interview
Boxing fans are now very concerned about Tyson Fury ahead of his highly anticipated fight with Oleksandr Usyk this weekend.
The British fighter is out for revenge after being beaten by Usyk in their first showdown back in May, with victory via split decision seeing the Ukrainian become the the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the world in 25 years. Fury has since promised to right the wrongs of that first bout and said he plans to go into the rematch in "destroy mode" and knock out his opponent fair and square.
However, with just a few days to go until they meet again in the ring in Riyadh, it is 'The Gypsy King' who has sparked concern with his bizarre behaviour during an open workout on Wednesday.

Cutting a serious figure as he entered the ring wearing an orange hoodie and alongside his trainer Sugarhill Steward, Fury chose to bob around the ring for a matter of seconds and did not throw a single punch on the pads. Having opted not to work out at all, he then bowed to the crowd in attendance and had his gloves removed.
This was all in stark contrast to his performance in the open workout for the first fight seven months ago, when he shadow boxed and worked on the pads for around quarter of an hour.
However, more stange behaviour was to come as he gave a bizarre 18-word interview before departing and making way for Usyk to take to the ring. Asked about the fight, he said bluntly: "A lot of pain. Smash and damage. A lot of hurt. Hurt, serious hurt. A lot of damage."
Quizzed on his fighter's odd workout, Steward said: “It was a little workout. We gave it our best. Tyson Fury is just ready right now, along with myself. He’s always had like a silly demeanour and [been] playing around, but this is a different side of him. He’s just ready, 100 per cent ready.”
However, those comments did little to lessen concerns amid fans of Fury, who are now convinced he is heading for a second defeat at the hands of Usyk this weekend.
"Said the same thing last time and got outclassed," wrote one X user. "I can sense that low sense of confidence and his body language looks it. Usyk will get him out of there late."
While some claimed that Fury was acting intimidating, others disputed that with one writing: "He’s just sulking like a child and looks edgy and nervous, like he doesn’t wanna be there.
A third fan claimed: "He's trying to play mind games.. but he is scared," while another added: "Usyk has the speed and ring IQ to win this, and he knows he can hurt Fury. Usky win by stoppage later rounds."
