Eddie Hearn has admitted he will be pushing Turki Alalshikh to make a fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury finally happen at Wembley Stadium.

Hearn attended Fury's rematch against Oleksandr Usyk and sat next to Alalshikh during the event. Unlike the first fight, Joshua was not in Saudi Arabia and watched on television instead. The former two-time unified world heavyweight champion had Usyk winning by a single round and paid respect to the Ukranian afterwards.

They also fought twice, in 2021 and 2022, with Usyk winning both bouts. Hearn now believes it is time for Fury and Joshua to fight.

"The reality is there's only one fight for Tyson Fury and that's Anthony Joshua," Hearn told DAZN. "It's probably the biggest fight in the history of British boxing, and everyone will always want to see it.

He continued: "For me, AJ against Fury is the one; it's the one at Wembley. It will be a huge global event. I'm going to be pushing His Excellency [Turki Alalshikh] to make the fight."

Joshua has yet to fight Fury despite talk of it happening since 2020. That same summer, Hearn said there was an agreement in principle for a two-fight deal.

Fury announced in May 2021 that it would happen in Saudi Arabia on 14 August, months after reports about them signing a contract. However, a day later, American judge Daniel Weinstein ordered Fury to fight Deontay Wilder for a third time, and days later, the WBO instructed Joshua to fight their mandatory challenger, Usyk.

Then, earlier this year, in a video uploaded on Instagram captioned "2024 update," Fury said: "I'm going to fight AJ [Joshua] at least once, maybe twice, if there's a rematch—if he wants one after the first battering I give him."
