Legendary boxer Mike Tyson will return to the ring for a professional fight for the first time in almost two decades. The former undisputed heavyweight champions of the world will take on YouTuber Jake Paul on Friday night in Texas.

Much has been made of the bout leading up to both fighters stepping in the ring. Tyson's last professional bout saw him retire on his stool after five rounds against Kevin McBride in 2005 and the fight has already been postponed earlier this year due to the 58-year-old's ill health.

The American boxer has fought in an exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020, with the fight resulting in a draw while Paul, the YouTube star turned boxer, last fought in July earlier this year, defeating UFC star Mike Perry by TKO. The 27-year-old has built up an impressive resume, fighting a number of big name UFC stars and has one loss on his professional boxing record - a defeat against Tommy Fury back in February 2023.
