Marcus Rashford's agent and brother Dwaine Maynard has reportedly had a meeting with Juventus to discuss a potential deal for the Manchester United star.

Last month, the forward expressed his desire for a 'new challenge' away from Old Trafford and his exit this month is a possibility. AC Milan appeared to be the most likely destination for him but other clubs have since emerged.

So far, Rashford has dismissed the idea of relocating to Saudi Arabia or Turkey and has turned down several offers. Despite initial meetings with Milan over a possible loan deal, they are reportedly not willing to pay his full wages of £325,000-a-week.

Fabrizio Romano now claims Maynard has held a meeting with Milan rivals, Juve. Speaking on his YouTube channel, the transfer specialist said: "The agent of the player, has been in Italy this week and met with AC Milan.

"Milan are in conversation, they have presented their project - let's see what happens. Juventus also met with the agent of Rashford and presented their project. Juventus also like Kolo Muani at Paris Saint-Germain but they are looking at several strikers.

So Milan had a meeting for Rashford and Juve had a meeting for Rashford."

Romano went on to state Borussia Dortmund are in contact for the England international too. "They are another candidate after the Jadon Sancho deal with Manchester United, one year ago," he added.

"So it's still open - clubs are talking, clubs are discussing. Forget about Como, there were reports but nothing is happening, not even a bid or negotiation. Milan, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are all under consideration but more clubs could enter this story."

Rashford's last appearance for United came on December 7 during the 3-2 home defeat to Nottingham Forest. He came on as a substitute, playing just 31 minutes.

Red Devils head coach Ruben Amorim previously left Rashford out of the Manchester Derby and explained his decision was simply down to 'selection.'

"Selection. We have a lot of players outside. Every week I chose my players and this time he is here," Amorim said.
