Upcoming City trip to Rochdale moved to March due to weather concerns
YORK City's upcoming visit to Rochdale has been moved.
York were due to play at Rochdale this coming Wednesday, January 15 (7.45pm), after initially being moved from Tuesday night.
However, due to recent weather conditions, the match has now been moved to Tuesday, March 25 (7.45pm).
Rochdale have struggled with postponements as of late on their playing surface, with the Crown Oil Arena seeing three of the previous four matches being called off.
Back-to-back home matches, firstly against Rochdale on New Year's Day and then against Stockton Town, also fell victim to the weather, with home supporters having to wait until last Wednesday for their first game since Boxing Day.
As a result of the fixture rearrangement, York will have to wait until next Saturday, January 18, for their match against Sutton United at the LNER Community Stadium (3pm).
That will be 14 days after City last played, which was a 1-0 defeat to Gainsborough Trinity in the FA Trophy.
