The final game of the USA Basketball showcase takes place tomorrow as the goliath that is the U.S. Men's National Team takes on Germany ahead of the Olympics.

The United States will need all the preparation they can get for this year's games. The U.S. has dominated men's basketball at the Olympics ever since the sports introduction to the games in 1936. The team has medaled in all but one Olympics (1980) and that was because the United States was boycotting the Olympics that year. The U.S. has won gold 16 times. The next closest is the Soviet Union with two.

With all that in mind, there is immense pressure on the United States to win gold yet again, which makes their underwhelming performance against South Sudan in their most recent contest all the more concerning. The United States needed to pull every trick out of the bag in order to take down the African nation in a 101-100 thriller. LeBron James hit the game-winner with just 8 seconds left to avoid the upset.
