Warrington Rylands' long unbeaten run comes to an end
WARRINGTON Rylands’ long unbeaten run has been brought to an end.
Blues arrived at Gainsborough Trinity having not lost in the Northern Premier League Premier Division for nearly three months, and that run looked set to continue when Ben Hardcastle gave them a fourth-minute lead in Lincolnshire.
However, the Holy Blues stormed back to record a 3-1 win and bring Rylands’ 12-match unbeaten run to a halt.
Ashley Jackson equalised for the hosts just before half time before two goals in four minutes won the game for Gainsborough, with Declan Howe and Jordan Helliwell on the scoresheet.
