Warrington Wolves' 2025 Academy fixtures confirmed
WARRINGTON Wolves’ academy team can now plot their way through the 2025 campaign.
The fixtures for the under 18s competition have now been confirmed and they will once again be played on alternate weeks with the Reserves league – the fixtures for which were confirmed last month.
The Wire’s first game will be against neighbours St Helens at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday, March 21, in a game to be played as a curtain-raiser for the men’s Super League Round Five fixture between the two clubs.
Their first home game of the year at Victoria Park will not be until Friday, April 18, when they face Leigh Leopards.
Most home games will be played at Victoria Park but the clash with Castleford Tigers on Sunday, June 1, will be played as a curtain-raiser game at The Halliwell Jones Stadium before the two clubs face off in Super League.
Both competitions will again be played under the restriction on tackle height which was introduced in 2024 as one of the 44 recommendations accepted by the RFL Board – with a legal tackle height limit of arm pit level (i.e. below the shoulder).
