ALL three of Warrington Wolves’ new signings for 2025 will feature in next week’s friendly against Widnes Vikings.

The Wire have named the starting 13 they will field for what will now be their first pre-season game of the year, with Sunday’s trip to Halifax Panthers having been postponed.

And it includes starts for Oli Leyland, Alfie Johnson and Dan Russell, all of whom have joined the club for the new campaign.

The two neighbours meet at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday, January 17, kick off 7.30pm.

Former London Broncos man Leyland will start in the halves alongside club captain Stefan Ratchford, with rugby union convert Johnson on the wing while Papua New Guinea international Russell lines up in the second row.

Alongside Ratchford, Zane Musgrove is the other senior pro named in a side that is largely filled with younger members of the first-team squad.

Burgess is set to name his strongest possible side for Toby King’s Testimonial match against Leigh Leopards at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday, February 1, after the team have returned from a warm-weather training camp in Tenerife.
