Arsenal can take a big step towards qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League on Wednesday when the Gunners welcome Dinamo Zagreb to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.

Mikel Arteta's men currently sit on 13 points after six games, and will be eyeing maximum points from their remaining two league-phase matches against teams which both went into matchday seven below the play-off qualification spots.

Arteta will be keen to see his side return to winning ways after letting a two-goal lead slip in the team's last match, at home to Aston Villa in the Premier League last Saturday.

That result saw the Gunners fall six points behind Liverpool in the title race, and unless that gap starts to shrink significantly in the coming weeks, the Champions League may soon represent Arsenal's best chance of silverware. Arsenal is out of the FA Cup and trails Newcastle 2-0 in the Carabao Cup semi-finals ahead of a tricky second leg at St. James' Park next month.
