How to watch Aston Villa vs West Ham in the FA Cup 3rd Round - TV, draw and replay details
Aston Villa start their FA Cup campaign, their third front in this most demanding of seasons, with a Third Round tie against Premier League rivals West Ham United.
Unai Emery’s men, who have not lost at Villa Park since the Carabao Cup clash with Crystal Palace in October, take on the Hammers on Friday evening looking to start their first decent cup run in more than a decade.
Only twice since they reached the final in 2015, have Villa made it as far as the Fourth Round – having beaten Middlesbrough 12 months ago last season’s run ended at that stage at the hands of Chelsea.
Clearly they have bigger priorities, battling away in the Premier and Champions League but a win over the Hammers would be a boost. Here’s what you need to know about the game.
