Celtic fans will have one eye on this weekend's top-of-the-table Bundesliga clash as Champions League foes Bayern Munich make the trip to Bayer Leverkusen.

Vincent Kompany's league leaders are on an impressive seven-game winning streak but incredibly haven't got the better of reigning champions Leverkusen since 2022. The most successful team in Germany boasts a comfortable eight-point lead at the top but it could be game on in the title race if Xabi Alonso's two-in-a-row hopefuls emerge victorious.

England captain Harry Kane - who scored the killer goal in Wednesday's 2-1 Champions League win at Parkhead - swapped Tottenham for the Allianz Arena in search of silverware. And the goalscoring phenomenon could move a step closer to lifting the first major honour of his career if Munich avoid defeat at the home of the holders.
