Hodgson’s assistants Ray Lewington and Paddy McCarthy will take charge against the Toffees, with Hodgson stepping down pre-match and officially replaced by Glasner.

It has been a difficult build-up to a crucial match for Palace, who have won just two of their last 13 Premier League matches.

Everton will sense a chance to pick up a pivotal three points themselves, as they look to ease their own relegation fears.
