How to watch Liverpool vs Tottenham for free after Carabao Cup decision
Liverpool's quest to retain the Carabao Cup continues on Thursday when they host Tottenham Hotspur in a semi-final second leg. In the reverse fixture Spurs came away with a slender advantage so Arne Slot must mastermind a turnaround.
The Reds were defeated by a Lucas Bergvall goal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in January, and while it resulted in disappointment there was little need to fret. Spurs were always going to visit Anfield for the return meeting, and with plenty of injuries to contend with they are not going to be given an easy task inside the cauldron.
Looking at Liverpool themselves, even if they do require an astonishing performance to reach March 16's final at Wembley Stadium, they can take confidence from all squad members except Trent Alexander-Arnold reporting a clean bill of health.

Additional incentive comes from the knowledge that the opponents in the final will be Newcastle United. Eddie Howe's side demolished Arsenal by a 4-0 aggregate scoreline over two legs, as was confirmed on Wednesday night.
Carabao Cup matches such as these are usually broadcasted live on Sky Sports, as per the EFL's current broadcasting contract. However, Liverpool and Spurs supporters not in attendance at Anfield can actually view Thursday's semi-final second leg on free-to-air television.
The EFL, Sky and ITV announced an agreement prior to the semi-final first legs that aims to give all UK football fans the chance to watch coverage of select Carabao Cup and EFL fixtures this season.
It was stated at the same time the second leg of Liverpool vs Tottenham on Thursday, February 6 is to be broadcast on ITV1. Coverage starts at 7:30pm, half an hour before kick-off.
Alternatively, if you are occupied and find yourself unable to tune into the action on TV, the ECHO will be in attendance at the Anfield for the fixture to provide all of the live updates and match analysis. Reds boss Slot gave his thoughts ahead of the game at a press conference on Wednesday and spoke about the upcoming test of Spurs, who have added two new players to their side since the first leg in Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel.
"Not that it matters a lot but if you play one week later you face exactly the same team and with all the injuries Tottenham had last time it would have been a bit more in our advantage - although we lost against the ones that were fit that time," Slot said. "
They have brought in three players. One of them (goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky) was there (for the first leg) but now we face two different ones.
"I wonder if Micky van de Ven is ready to play, he of course has a big impact on their team. It might change the quality we face.
"If you reach the semi-final against Tottenham you know it is going to be a difficult one - but I think we will be better than the last time."
