On Friday night, teenage darts superstar Luke Littler takes on three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen in the 2025 World Championship final.

Littler, who was last year's runner-up, is aiming to make history by becoming the youngest-ever player to win the Sid Waddell Trophy.

At just 17, he could eclipse van Gerwen's record, set when the Dutchman first clinched the title at 24.

Van Gerwen is no stranger to the high-pressure atmosphere of a final and will be aiming to secure his fourth World Championship title, having last claimed victory in 2019.

This will be his seventh time competing in the final after beating Bedlington's Chris Dobey in Thursday's semi final.
