How to watch Middlesbrough vs Sunderland - terrestrial TV channel, kick off time and more
Middlesbrough host Sunderland in the Championship on Monday evening, in a game that will be broadcast on terrestrial TV.
As part of the EFL's new broadcast deal with Sky Sports, five games are being shown on ITV between now and the end of the season, with this one following Leeds United v Sheffield Wednesday last month. Boro will be hoping to get back to winning ways on home turf in the game, after last weekend's defeat to Preston North End.
With games being played over the weekend ahead of this game, Boro know that they can climb back up to fifth, leapfrogging West Brom and Blackburn Rovers, if they do manage to beat their north east rivals on home turf, avenging the 1-0 defeat they suffered at the Stadium of Light earlier in the season. Here's everything you need to know ahead of the game.

Middlesbrough vs Sunderland referee
A big game that has seen many red cards over the years calls for a strong personality to manage it. Stephen Martin is the man appointed for the game. The Staffordshire official has officiated 20 games so far this season and is yet to show a single red card. He has shown 83 yellows though, including five to Boro players in wins over Stoke City and Hull City at the Riverside.
