How to watch Nottingham Forest v Luton Town on TV and listen to FA Cup 3rd round tie on radio
Nottingham Forest welcome managerless Luton Town to the City Ground on Saturday afternoon for an FA Cup third round tie and an opportunity to claim a remarkable seventh straight win in all competitions. Forest drew the Championship Hatters, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, with Rob Edwards still in situ, but the club have parted company with their boss this week.
Forest, under Nuno Espirito Santo, host Liverpool in a mouthwatering encounter on Tuesday and, with that in mind, changes are expected to be made to the starting XI this afternoon; fresh from beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-0 at Molineux on Monday night, it's understandable that the Premier League is taking precedence at this stage of the season for the Reds.
Still, they'll be hoping to make progress and to extend their excellent recent run of form which has seen them maintain their place in the top flight's top four and draw level on points with second placed Arsenal, who they are now only behind on goal difference. For today, though, the FA Cup takes centre stage. Here is how you can follow the action.
How can I watch the game?
The BBC and ITV, between them, are broadcasting 11 of the 32 third round ties over the course of this week - from Thursday night through to Monday evening. The BBC will show seven, while ITV will broadcast the remaining four. Forest v Luton hasn't been moved from its traditional time slot of Saturday 3pm, for which many supporters will be relieved.
What that does mean, though, is that Forest v Luton won't be readily available for supporters to watch live in the UK as the game plays out from 3pm, but Forest supporters around the world will have access to the coverage, with a host of different rights holders broadcasting depending on your location - including Viaplay and ESPN. You can view the full list here.
There'll also be extended highlights on Saturday evening from the BBC, via their FA Cup show. Coverage begins at 10:30pm and concludes at midnight. You can listen to the game via BBC Radio Nottingham. Their pre-match build up show begins at 14:30 ahead of the 3pm kick off. The post-match debrief then takes place between 5-6pm.
