Watch highlights as the Patriots dominate the Jets

The New England Patriots continued their perfect start to the season and moved to 7-0 after blowing out the New York Jets 33-0 on Monday Night Football.

MetLife was home to the divisional matchup but only saw one team turn up, as Jets quarterback Sam Darnold threw four interceptions and gave up a fumble.

Tom Brady didn’t even have to be at his best as his side cruised to victory. The six-time Super Bowl winner finished the night with 249 yards, completing 31 of his 45 passes, throwing for one touchdown and one interception.

Pats running back Sony Michel got three touchdowns, but it was his sides defense that continued to impress, with their second shutout of the season. They are now on course to have the best defensive record the NFL has ever seen.

The 2000 Baltimore Ravens lead the way, allowing 10.3 points per game, while the 1985 Chicago Bears finished with 12.4 points per game. This Pats side are currently on just 8.

Jets running back Le’Veon Bell managed 70 yards at 4.5 yards per carry, but that was about as good as it got for the Jets who now sit second from bottom in the AFC East, with only the sorry Dolphins below them.
