Wrexham v Birmingham City lock horns in arguably the biggest game of the League One season.

Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds' Wrexham are currently third in the standings, and will be going up against table-toppers Birmingham, who NFL legend Tom Brady is a minority owner of.

In anticipation of this massive clash, North Wales Police have revealed that there will be increased patrols across Wrexham city, with a sell-out crowd of 12,500 confirmed.

Wrexham will not have goalkeeper Callum Burton at their disposal, with striker Ollie Palmer a doubt for this match. James McClean is fit and should be available.

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson clarified the injury situation of Lewis Brunt. “Brunty is coming on well so we’re pleased with that,” he said.

“It looks like we’ve got over that hurdle with his calf and he’s done some of the training today, he’s been running earlier in the week as well, so we’ll assess him closer to the kick off."

Lee Buchanan and winger Siriki Dembele are the only definite absentees for Birmingham.
