The weather has again prevented any competition golf taking place at Taunton and Pickeridge over the last few days, much to everyone’s frustration.

However just before the festive break on Monday 23rd December 16 juniors took to the course to play in a Fun Christmas 4 Ball Better Ball competition.

The two Nearest the Pin holes were both won by one of the Junior Section’s  new members Oscar, while the best scoring pair competition was won by Cooper and Regis.

Although the weather was cold it stayed dry and the enjoyment of the round was helped by having hot chocolates at the Halfway House and some Christmas treats for all back in the clubhouse.

New junior organiser Steph Childs said: “ Despite the cold weather It was a fantastic day filled with lots of happy faces and laughter- everybody enjoyed themselves.”
