West Brom next manager latest as Tony Mowbray claim debunked
Tony Mowbray has once again been linked with what would be an emotional return to West Bromwich Albion.
The Sun have this morning claimed the 61-year-old, who is taking a break from football after leaving Birmingham City last season for health reasons, is on the shortlist to succeed Carlos Corberan.
The report suggests Mowbray has met with Albion twice and is available for work – and is on that shortlist with Swiss coach Raphael Wicky.

Mowbray had a three-year spell with the Baggies from 2006-09, built an attractive team that won promotion to the Premier League in 2008. He has gone on to have a long management career with the likes of Blackburn and Sunderland before his time at Blues was brought to an early end.
The former centre back has spent the last few months recovering and is now awaiting the medical all-clear to return to work. However, BirminghamLive understands that is unlikely to be timeframe in which Albion are operating therefore negating the prospect of a return to The Hawthorns.
