The Hammers will sign off for the World Cup break against a team who have endured as difficult a start to the season as them, sitting level with each other on 14 points just two outside the relegation zone heading into the weekend.

West Ham boss David Moyes has welcomed the unique mid-season pause because "we know we need to do better in the Premier League", but will first be looking for a morale-boosting win otherwise will spend the next six weeks perilously close to drop zone.

Asked about injuries, Moyes had previously said: "Emerson is touch and go because he broke his nose in midweek. He's had it reset.” As a result, the Italian is on the bench.

"We've got a couple of other knocks and niggles so we'll see for tomorrow. Cornet is definitely out. He won't come back until after the World Cup."

Leicester are without the injured James Justin, Ricardo Pereira, Caglar Soyuncu and Ryan Bertrand for today’s trip to the London Stadium.
