Where is Super Bowl 2026, 2027? NFL's biggest party moves to California for next two years

Super Bowl 59 hasn't even been put on ice, but the league is already set to turn the page.

New Orleans has the chance to host this year's party and will now pass the baton when they wrap up the eighth Super Bowl in Superdome history. Planning for significant events like this starts early, so it's hardly a surprise when the NFL comes to town.

The league spends years ensuring that every last detail is included. With that in mind, the GPS is already set for next year's game and the two that follow.

After New Orleans, the NFL will make its way to the Golden State for the next two Super Bowls. Here's what to know about the future Super Bowl locations.

Where is the Super Bowl 2026?

Super Bowl 60 will be played at the home of the San Francisco 49ers, Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

It's the second time the venue gets the big game, and it comes a decade after hosting Super Bowl 50 in 2016. That game famously served as the site for Peyton Manning's final game, when the Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers, 24-10.

Levi's Stadium opened in 2014.

Where is the Super Bowl 2027?

SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles will host Super Bowl 61.

This will also be the second time for the stadium, having been the location for Super Bowl 56 in 2022. The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20. Having opened in 2020, SoFi Stadium has quickly established itself as one of the nicest buildings in the league.

Checking in at over $5 billion to build, the venue is primed to be the home of many prominent future events.

Where is the Super Bowl 2028?

In October, the NFL announced that it awarded Super Bowl 62 to Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Like the two before it, Mercedes-Benz Stadium will get to host its second Super Bowl. The building replaced the Georgia Dome when it opened in 2017, hosting the big game in 2019. The New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 53, 13-3, in a game that lacked a lot of action.

That turned out to be New England's last Super Bowl victory before the dynasty came crumbling down. While Tom Brady would go on to win one more ring with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta will always be the site of his final Patriots' triumph.

The league hasn't made its plans known beyond 2028.
