Why Aston Villa vs Brighton is not on TV explained as Chelsea also snubbed
Aston Villa return to action on Monday evening at home to Brighton in the Premier League.
Unai Emery's side will be looking to bounce back from their Boxing Day defeat away at Newcastle United last time out when they host the Seagulls. Villa currently sit ninth in the top-flight table after 18 matches but could move up to sixth with a win and if other results go their way.
The Villans take on a Brighton team who have struggled for form in recent weeks, having failed to win a game since beating Bournemouth on November 23. Fabian Hurzeler's side drew 0-0 at home to Brentford last time out and currently sit 10th in the table.
