Willian brace sees Chelsea cruise past 10-man Tottenham as racism mars London derby
A brace from Willian guided Frank Lampard’s Chelsea to a comfortable 2-0 win over 10-man Tottenham after Son Heung-min was sent off for Jose Mourinho’s side.
The Brazilian curled Chelsea in front at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after a well worked short corner routine before he doubled their lead in first half injury time from the penalty spot.
Son was sent off on the hour mark after a VAR review which saw Spurs reduced to 10-men after he kicked out at Antonio Rudiger following a challenge with the defender.
The match was marred when racism reared its ugly head once again this season. There was an announcement over the tannoy that said "racist behaviour among spectators is interfering with the game".

Chelsea's Rudiger appeared to be the target after he was involved in Son's red card.
Two further announcements of the same message were played out over the tannoy before the full-time whistle.
Chelsea came into the match with four defeats from their last five Premier League games but Lampard got the better of his old manager Mourinho with a tactical masterclass.
Mourinho named an unchanged side against his former club, while Lampard gave Marcos Alonso a first start since November 5 as he changed shape, switching to a three-man defence.
After a cagey start to the match Willian hammered Chelsea in front in the 12th minute.
The Brazilian played a short corner, got the ball back and then did Serge Aurier with a neat step over to open up a pocket of space inside the box, before the curling one into the far corner to make it 1-0.
Tammy Abraham had a chance to make it 2-0 on 20 minutes but couldn’t direct his header on target from Alonso’s cross.
Spurs had their first chance of the game 10 minutes later as Moussa Sissoko squared for Harry Kane, but he couldn’t keep his first time effort down.
After a VAR review Chelsea were awarded a penalty in first half injury time.
Paulo Gazzaniga came flying out to claim a ball into the box, missed it completely and clattered into Alonso. Referee Anthony Taylor awarded a free kick but the video assistant referee upgraded that to a spot kick following their review.
William stepped up and made it two for him and 2-0 to Chelsea.
With Spurs lacking any real creativity and still looking for a shot on target, Mourinho opted for a change and brought Christian Eriksen on in place of Eric Dier for the second half.
Spurs were reduced to 10 men just past the hour mark when Son was shown a red card following a VAR check for violent conduct.
The forward tangled with Antonio Rudiger and kicked out at the Chelsea defender.
There was a stadium announcement after 75 minutes saying that "racist behaviour among spectators is interfering with the game".
Stills from Sky Sports of Rudiger appeared to suggest he was claiming a fan made a monkey gesture towards him.
A second and third announcement was made before the full-time whistle which said "racist behaviour from spectators is interfering with the game, please remember that racism has no place in football."
It left a cloud over a game which should have been about Lampard, who won five trophies as a Chelsea player under Mourinho, beating his former boss for the second time.
The 2-0 win consolidated Chelsea's grip on fourth place in the Premier League table and left Spurs is seventh, six points adrift.
