MORTON winger Nathan Shaw says his side have what it takes to go one further and beat Dunfermline on Saturday after the previous meeting between the two sides earlier this season.

Ton rode their luck in a goalless draw against James McPake’s side at East End Park back in October.

That draw was the third of three games unbeaten at the time, and now Ton are looking to go one step closer to doubling that run when the Fifers arrive in Greenock tomorrow.

Ton head into this weekend’s clash against the Pars looking to make it five games unbeaten in the Scottish Championship, and Shaw is seeing the clash as the perfect opportunity to start turning draws, of which the Greenock men have three of on the spin, into wins.

He told the Tele: “It was a good point away from home against Dunfermline the last time around.

"We were under the cosh for a lot of that second half but there were a lot of things to be pleased about.

“So for us now, it’s just about trying to take the positives from that performance because we know how well we’re capable of playing.

“Obviously, if we can build on that and take three points this time, that would be ideal.

“We've just got to keep it going, really. We've just got to change the single points into three points.

“If we can do that then we'll be in a lot better position in the table.”
