Wolves' new manager praises Ruben Amorim for three qualities that will help Manchester United
Wolves' new manager has backed Ruben Amorim to do "very good work" at Manchester United.
United will take on Wolves in the Premier League on Boxing Day and there is an added element of intrigue to the fixture due to the recent appointment of Vitor Pereira at Molineux.
Last week, Pereira was appointed from Saudi Arabian club Al Shabab to replace Gary O'Neil, who left Wolves in 19th place in the table and with just nine points from 16 matches.

Pereira is a Portuguese coach and a client of super agent Jorge Mendes, who is heavily involved with Wolves. Pereira managed 13 clubs before his arrival in Wolverhampton and the 56-year-old had a very modest playing career as he only played amateur football and retired early.
Nonetheless, Pereira has managed clubs like Olympiacos and Fenerbahce, and he oversaw an impressive 3-0 victory over Leicester City in his first game in charge last weekend.
"We never played against each other because I am a lot older," Pereira said about Amorim.
"I took a lot of time to arrive here [in England] because I made maybe bad steps in my career and missed opportunities to come sooner.
"Amorim is the new generation of Portuguese coach with a lot of talent and communication, tactical, strategical talent and I believe he will do a very good work in the Premier League."
He added about Wolves: "We will improve possession and defensive organisation. I just need a few weeks, not a lot of time to put this team playing the way I want, because I know what I want.
"They are open to this kind of play. I want to play with quality. Football is not only results, it must be a beautiful game. The plan is to work and work. I know one way to increase the level is to work. Doing mistakes, correcting them and working with them and to give confidence to the players."
United are just 10 points above Wolves who are currently in the relegation zone.
