Arsenal head to Wolves this weekend looking to avoid another Premier League title race slip-up.

The Gunners, have dropped four points across their last three games and are struggling to close the gap on league-leaders Liverpool, who sit six points ahead of them in the Premier League table while also boasting a game in hand.

Wolves have struggled to improve under new manager Vítor Pereira, having lost their last three on the spin and conceded nine goals in the process. Their struggles are expected to be further compounded by Matheus Cunha’s desire to leave.

Arsenal are reportedly one of five clubs chasing Cuna, creating an interesting sub-plot to the clash.

Wolves vs Arsenal team news

Arsenal are likely to again be without Myles Lewis-Skelly, who is set for scans on a knee after picking up an injury against Aston Villa. William Saliba will also miss the game with a thigh injury, but is expected back next week.

Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu's knee injuries are expected to keep them sidelined until next month. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus are longer-term injuries.

Wolves could have Tori available this weekend, but Sasa Kalajdzic remains weeks away. Mario Lemina continues to face an uncertain future during the transfer window so may not be involved.

Wolves vs Arsenal prediction

This would have been a slightly tougher task for Arsenal a few weeks ago, but Wolves’ new manager bounce appears to have expired and they are back to shipping goals for fun.

Arsenal, even without that new forward they so desperately want, have enough about them to punish a sloppy defence.

Arsenal to win, 2-0.
